Tonic 86™ is an antiseptic, antibacterial, mild exfoliating liquid that corrects and prevents ingrown hairs, razor bumps and razor burn. The proprietary Tonic 86™ formula also features skin softening agents, a unisex, powderfresh fragrance, and a beautiful blue color.

Tonic 86™ is ideal for use as follows:

Ingrowns and razor bumps form when hairs that have been cut, broken or otherwise removed fail to properly exit the follicle and grow beneath the skin surface. The result is a painful and unsightly bump. Tonic 86™ clears and prevents ingrown hairs, razor bumps and razor burn by disinfecting the skin and mildly exfoliating surface cells to keep hair follicles clean and unobstructed.

USES & INSTRUCTIONS

WAXING
Tonic 86™ is ideal as both a pre-wax skin prep and a post-wax treatment.

Pre-Wax -- Apply Tonic 86™ using a cotton ball or cotton round. The exfoliating properties of Tonic 86™ help to “loosen” the hair within the follicle while its disinfecting properties kill the germs and bacteria that can infect follicles left vacant after hair removal.

Post-Wax – Immediately after waxing, apply Tonic 86™ using a cotton ball or cotton round to disinfect the skin, prevent breakouts, and minimize redness. You will experience a slight tingling sensation that will quickly dissipate. For homecare after waxing, apply regularly between treatments (3-5 times per week) to keep follicles clear and prevent ingrown hairs.

SHAVING

Razor bumps and razor burn (redness) are common shaving problems. When used after shaving Tonic 86™ corrects and prevents bumps and redness.

Men
If your beard hairs are curly and coarse you are at high risk for razor bumps (African-American men are especially vulnerable). As these hairs grow they can curl back into the hair follicle or grow into the skin. The result is a painful and unsightly bump that can make shaving unpleasant or impossible. Apply Tonic 86™ to dry, freshly shaved skin using a cotton ball or cotton round. You will experience a slight tingling sensation that will quickly dissipate. For best results, shave every day and use Tonic 86™ after every shave. When starting with the product use Tonic 86™ twice per day, in the morning after shaving and at night before bed. Use the product twice daily for a period of two weeks and then use daily after shaving.

Women
The antiseptic, antibacterial, and mild exfoliating properties of Tonic 86™ make it the ideal aftershave product to minimize redness and prevent ingrown hairs. Apply Tonic 86™ to dry, freshly shaved skin using a cotton ball or cotton round. Use on legs, underarms and/or bikini. Repeat application regularly (3-5 times per week) between shaves.

ELECTROLYSIS

Before – Apply Tonic 86™ using a cotton ball or cotton round. The exfoliating properties of Tonic 86™ help to “loosen” the hair within the follicle while its disinfecting properties kill the germs and bacteria that can infect follicles left vacant after hair has been removed.

After – Apply Tonic 86™ using a cotton ball or cotton round. Apply immediately after electrolysis to disinfect the skin, prevent breakouts, and minimize redness. For homecare after electrolysis, apply regularly between treatments (3-5 times per week) to keep follicles clear and prevent ingrown hairs.

LASER HAIR REMOVAL

Tonic 86™ clears and prevents ingrown hairs and redness resulting from laser hair removal. After any laser hair removal procedure (but not before as the product may interfere with laser targeting) apply Tonic 86™ using a cotton ball or cotton round. Between treatments, apply to affected area 3-5 times per week. After final treatment, apply to affected area 3-5 times per week for one month.

NECK REDNESS

Many men whose jobs require neckties experience neck redness where their collars chafe against freshly shaved skin. After shaving, dry affected area thoroughly and apply Tonic 86™ using a cotton ball or cotton round. This will significantly reduce redness, irritation and discomfort.

PRECAUTIONS

EXTERNAL: For external use only.

CHILDREN: Keep away from children.

ASPIRIN: Contains aspirin. If you are allergic to aspirin do not use this product.

EYES: Avoid contact with eyes. If contact with eyes occurs flush with clean, cold water.

ACIDS: Do not use Tonic 86™ for 30 days after using any of the following:

• Accutane
• Alpha Hydroxy Acid peel (AHA)
• Glycolic Acid peel
• Other acid peels (lactic, tartaric, etc)

SCRUBS: Do not use Tonic 86™ for 36 hours after any mechanical exfoliation with scrubs, buffs, puffs, loofahs, etc.

TEST: Before using Tonic 86™ for the first time, test it on a small patch of skin and wait five minutes to insure you do not have a reaction. Before first using Tonic 86™ after a hair removal procedure (waxing, shaving, electrolysis, laser), test Tonic 86™ on a small patch of skin on which hair removal was performed and wait five minutes. Be advised that a reaction, if one occurs, can be the result of factors not related to Tonic 86™.

WET SKIN: Always use Tonic 86™ on clean, dry skin. Avoid applying to wet skin. Wet skin can amplify any stinging sensation.

CRYSTALS : Crystals will form in Tonic 86™ at temperatures below 32º Fahrenheit / 0º Celsius. This is normal and does not affect the performance of the product. Crystals will disappear when product returns to a temperature above freezing.
